What is the issue? - I'm not able to join any of the minefrost servers when I'm on my house wifi. When I try to join, I get this error: https://gyazo.com/236fb95d0ac616fb9fa9d08a9187a847

How do you "do" the glitch/bug? - Join server

What happens when you "do" this glitch/bug? - https://gyazo.com/236fb95d0ac616fb9fa9d08a9187a847

Anything else you want to add? - I'm able to get on the server when I use my personal hotspot on my phone. I've restarted my router 3 times and get the same error each time. I uninstalled minecraft and it still won't let me join. I've come to the conclusion that the problem is on the servers end.

This isn't a bug really I get that message all the time, but all I have to do is reload my client (close and re-open the game). The "Connection Timed Out" means something is wrong with your ping, either you dont have a connection at all to the host server or your ping is just to long for the server to be playable. Sorry if I don't make any sense, I do that a lot. :D

He has problems joining other servers as well, it is because of his ping. @SimplySavage_ try remove all servers from your minecraft server list, and just add minefrost.

Maybe try to do the flush dns thing? Do a file search for cmd.exe then run it as an administrator (right click, run as, etc), then in the command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns and see if that clears your problem.

Also reset your modem and router. Should just be able to unpower your router to reset that.

We tried those multiple times, it seems that his connection was so unstable that the server was rejecting him due to extremely high ping. 99% of servers on his server lists were not pinging either.

Ah, but, do we know if it's been resolved or still an ongoing issue?

@Cap is there any way to ping his ip from the server? if not just ping the ip from where you are at.

@SimplySavage_ If you are running windows, in the console, run the command "ping play.minefrost.net" without the quotes. then run the '"ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes, then run "ping play.minefrost.net" again...see if there is any difference.

I'm starting to think its something to do with my internet security. My dad's job requires him to have a secure internet thingy. Maybe the security thing thinks the IP or gateway is bad or something
